‘WWIs Brave Indian soldiers lying in Mazargues cemetery, Marseilles, France- a homage and a curtain raiser’ by K.J.S.Chatrath

I went to Marseilles in France in Mid-October and had the privilege of visiting and paying my homage to the brave Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during the First World War.

There are around single 950 graves, each dedicated to an Indian soldier. I was able to photograph each of these graves. I would be working on this topic further.

As a curtain raiser, here are two photos of one of the graves.
