Claire O’Connell nee’ Blin, decedee’ le 25 Decembre, 1904.
It is said that the young lady died on the night of her marriage – on 25th December, 1904. Clasped hands, a male and a female indicate marriage. There is also a small owl depicted on the grave- depicting bad luck.

Sir , i am very fond of knowing various ancient cultures , especially about french and anglos. I have been to pondicherry once only that to for a day only. But the details provided by you is now forcing me to come again to pondicherry to explore some more things which are still unexplored. The pics of french cremetry is emmaculate. Regards. Mrinal
my house is situated just opposite to french Cemetry in Pondicherry. I am so happy to see these pictures. My childhood was spent playing with my friends in the cemetry. I LOVE THOSE DAYS.
Sir ur website is a treasure trove of information . i frequently visit pondycherry but never had the thought about the graves .
